First time at this market and ordered cupcakes for a kids birthday. These were sooooo good! Real gourmet style- idk what the frosting was but we were all raving about it. It was creamy and sweet without being like sweet icing, if that makes sense. And the bakery is so cute- there's a chandelier! Super friendly workers. Adorable market and would order these cupcakes again for sure!
Palmer's is my all-time favorite Market and this is coming from someone who lives in California. However, I visit Darien often and I always look forward to shopping at Palmer's! Their quality of Deli, Meats and Specialty Foods is top notch and their staff always courteous and knowledgeable. It is a treat to explore their well-stocked and immaculate aisles. I also want to give a special "shout out" to Thomas Simpson for being so accommodating with my most recent "unusual" request. I thought the two trays were wonderful! Tea sandwiches, one more delicious than the next! And the cheese and fruit tray with freshest array of colorful fruit, crackers, and pretzel stix and a choice of several cheeses! Everything was cut some in star shape and arranged expertly! It was a hit with lady friends who read and discuss great books in Fairfield! Thanks for the staff who were very kind!

Everything about Palmer's is five star. Sandwiches are terrific. We love your soups, but REALLY wish you put them in large paper cups similar to the small one at the soup/etc. stand

Palmer's Market is a charming supermarket that is a cross between Balducci's and DeCicco & Sons supermarkets. It's also always fun browsing through Palmer's curated aisles and finding obscure but delightful new food products! Palmer's Michelin-quality bakery is far better than Balducci's and DeCicco, which are your standard grocery store bakery with lower quality and extra cheap, sugar-laden baked goods. Palmer's Very Vanilla Buttercream Yellow Cake is so decadent, super moist, and has great aesthetics! Their beautifully golden Blueberry Muffins - Blueberry Explosion- also have double the amount of perfect tart blueberries than other Blueberry Muffins elsewhere. Insanely yum! When it comes to the Holidays, I also use Palmer's impeccable, highly responsive Catering Team, and my Thanksgiving 2023 Dinner was delicious and effortless, especially their winning and succulent Rolls-Royce of turkeys - fancy, juicy, and easy to reheat. For Christmas 2023, their Santa cupcakes with the sugar topping were so indelibly good!
